Role Overview

The Marketing & Sales Manager – Canada Operations will play a key role in building and nurturing business relationships, identifying client needs, and successfully converting leads into long-term partnerships. This role involves outbound prospecting, tailored pitching, and working closely with internal teams to deliver integrated solutions to Canadian clients.


Key Responsibilities:

Lead Generation & Outreach

  • Research and identify prospective clients in Canada requiring branding, design, and digital marketing solutions.
  • Conduct proactive outreach through cold calls, emails, and social media to initiate conversations.
  • Understand client requirements and business challenges to offer tailored solutions from Thoughtful’s service portfolio.

Brand Pitching & Conversion

  • Deliver persuasive presentations and pitches to decision-makers and business owners.
  • Navigate the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing, including negotiation of terms.
  • Maintain CRM records with detailed client interactions and deal progress.


Client Relationship & Retention

  • Serve as a point of contact for Canadian prospects and clients throughout the engagement.
  • Collaborate with the Operations Manager post-sale to ensure client satisfaction and long-term relationship building.
  • Conduct regular follow-ups to foster repeat business and referrals.


Sales Ownership & Pipeline Management

  • Own and manage the complete sales process from lead generation to deal closure.
  • Maintain a steady pipeline of leads and prospects with consistent follow-through.
  • Consistently achieve or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Undergraduate degree (preferably in Marketing); Postgraduate in Marketing (MBA/PGDM) preferred.
  • 4–5 years of experience in a branding, design, or digital agency, focusing on sales and marketing.
  • Strong communication and persuasion skills, both verbal and written.
  • Familiarity with digital marketing, branding, and website-related services.
  • Proficient in using Zoho CRM or similar sales and pipeline tools.
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proven track record in closing deals and achieving sales goals.

Compensation

  • Base Salary: ₹40,000/month
  • Benefits: Mobile plan and conveyance reimbursed at actuals
  • Incentives: Excellent commission structure based on achieved sales

Travel Requirements

  • Travel within India for meetings and events as required.
  • A personal motorcycle is mandatory for in-person client visits.

Working Hours

  • Monday to Saturday
  • Time: 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
